History & Mission
Goulds CDC was founded in 1993 as a non-profit community development corporation with the mission of building
a brighter future for the residents of Goulds by pursing a program of community development, affordable housing, historic
preservation and job creation through commercial revitalization.
Goulds CDC seeks to achieve this mission by:
- building affordable single-family housing
- creating jobs
- promoting entrepreneurship
- revitalizing commercial areas

Accmplishments & Goals
Goulds
CDC has endeavoured to fulfill its mission by; establishing a
home ownership program; restoring a community commercial landmark building; joint venturing in the development of a community
shopping plaza; establishment of a successful daycare center and providing small business opportunities and technical
assistantce services to the South Dade community. The organization's goal is to continue to expand and create opportunities
to the community to own manage and operate business enterprise. These goals also include continuing expanding opportunities
to provide decent and safe housing.
Our Vision
Goulds CDC vision is to expand its services in the
affordable housing area by creating a Housing Opportunity Center which will provide extended and exclusive housing services
and products, develop a Real Estate division which will concentrate on land acquisition, project development, construction
management, and joint ventures.

Our Guiding Philosophy
Goulds CDC has positioned its self as the developer
for the community of Goulds and continues to strengthen this position by actively involving the residents of the community
its developmental process and establishing relationships with other developers seeking to build in the Goulds community
